These cannabis gummies keep selling out in 2024

If you've ever struggled to enjoy cannabis due to the harshness of smoking or vaping, you're not alone. That’s why these new cannabis gummies caught our eye.

Mood is an online dispensary that has invented a “joint within a gummy” that’s extremely potent yet federally-legal. Their gummies are formulated to tap into the human body’s endocannabinoid system.

Although this system was discovered in the 1990’s, farmers and scientists at Mood were among the first to figure out how to tap into it with cannabis gummies. Just 1 of their rapid onset THC gummies can get you feeling right within 5 minutes!

HOLISTIC SPOTLIGHT

Wringing Out the Past: My Powerful Thai Stretch Experience

Look, I've been around the holistic healing block a time or two. I've partaken in many bodywork modalities to support myself through serious challenges. None have been as impactful and as immediately healing as the Thai stretch session I received a few days ago.

Have you ever been to an acupressurist, a massage therapist, a chiropractor, and a private yoga class all in one day? This is the best way I can describe Thai stretching. It's like receiving all of these treatments combined, in one hour, by a highly skilled mechanic of the body.

E, my Thai stretch therapist, was exceptional. He knew exactly where to push and pull and twist, and exactly how much pressure to apply to get the job done.

I’ve visited MDs, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, and a doctor of osteopathic medicine for my shoulder pain and limited mobility. It’s something I’ve been dealing with since the double mastectomy I had 7 years ago.

E gave me more range of motion and pain relief after just one hour than any other professional has been able to.

For the first time in 7 years, I can scratch any area of my back with my hands. I can put a coat on without pain. I can reach into the backseat of the car to grab my bag without wincing.

This is remarkable, in my opinion. But an even more remarkable thing happened next.

I started crying. Not from pain (though it was painful) but from an emotional release. A dormant volcano of emotion erupted within me—unexpectedly and involuntarily—and continued erupting through the rest of the session.

In Thai stretching, the therapist works with Sen lines—invisible channels that carry the body’s life force. The tradition teaches that when these lines are blocked or out of balance, it can lead to physical or emotional ailments.

The goal of Thai stretching is to clear blockages and promote healing by allowing the life force to flow freely again. This is exactly what E accomplished in our first session—an unblocking and rebalancing of my energy.

Several times, his pulling and pressing seemed to squeeze and wring out old, stuck emotions. Funky gunk that had been buried long ago came rushing to the surface in gushing waves.

When the sobbing ended (30 minutes after the session was over), I felt brand new—liberated and lighter. I burst into laughter for no reason. The world seemed brighter. I was connected to joy.

Thai stretching isn’t for everyone. It’s intense and will likely bring you to your edge. But if you like exploring holistic healing modalities, I wholeheartedly recommend Thai massage.

If you’re near Columbia, book a session with E at Journey Within Wellness Center. It might be just the breakthrough you’ve been waiting for.

YOUR HEALING MINUTE

Pause and Celebrate the Winter Solstice

This Sunday, December 22nd, is the darkest day of the year.

The winter solstice marks the moment when darkness reaches its peak, and light begins its slow and steady return. Nature retreats and renews during this time, and we too can embrace this sacred pause for personal restoration.

Consider the solstice an invitation to turn inward. Acknowledge the darkness not as something to fear, but as a fertile ground for growth and introspection. Like a seed nestled beneath winter's soil, you are preparing for your own emergence.

Consider honoring this transition by practicing gentle self-care. Light a candle, take a warm bath, drink a nourishing herbal tea, sleep a little more, and allow yourself to dream.

The solstice whispers nature’s wisdom: Every period of darkness ends. Dormancy is not death, but preparation. Tomorrow is a brighter day.

Happy solstice.
